ClawBio and GENEQ Global - Agentic AI for Genomics
GENEQ Global is proud to highlight ClawBio, an innovative open-source bioinformatics and agentic AI initiative founded and developed by Dr Manuel Corpas, Chief Scientific Officer of GENEQ Global. ClawBio brings artificial intelligence (AI) and genomic analysis together through a growing library of AI agent skills designed to make sophisticated bioinformatics workflows easier to execute, inspect and reproduce. From pharmacogenomics and variant interpretation to GWAS, whole-genome sequencing and genomic equity assessment, the platform demonstrates how agentic AI can support a new generation of genomic research and analysis.
ClawBio is part of the emerging field of agentic genomics, in which AI agents can plan, execute and iteratively refine multi-step genomic analyses using specialised, domain-constrained tools. Rather than relying solely on a general-purpose AI model to generate an answer, this approach enables agents to work with defined bioinformatics skills, data sources and analytical processes. ClawBio is open source and has been developed as a research and educational platform, creating opportunities for scientists, developers and the wider genomics community to experiment with and contribute to this rapidly developing field.
