About Us
GENEQ Global, an organisational member of the Global Alliance for Genomics and Health (GA4GH) was founded in 2025, by Heinner, Manuel and Sim, with a simple ambition: to make genomic and precision medicine more accessible, more equitable and more personalised, regardless of country, background or ancestry.
The company's founders bring many years of experience and expertise, across global genomics strategy and national program implementation, clinical care, patient-focused outcomes and world-leading scientific research and publications.

The GENEQ Global International Advisory Board is a distinguished group of international experts, convened to ensure that equity, ethics, engagement and international perspectives remain central to the work of GENEQ Global and to the expansion of genomic and precision medicine worldwide.
Dr. Alejandra Mampel
Dr. Alejandra Mampel, an Argentinian specialist in Medical Genetics and an experienced university educator. She is President of both the Latin American Human Genetics Network and the Cuyo Mastology Association. Dr. Mampel works at a number of prominent hospitals spanning Genetic and Oncogenetic Counselling, General Medicine, Oncology and Neonatology.
Prof. Segun Fatumo
Prof. Segun Fatumo is Chair of Genomic Diversity at Queen Mary University of London and Head of NCD Genomics at the MRC Uganda Research Unit. Hailing from Nigeria, his work focuses on the genetic basis of non-communicable diseases in African and other diverse ancestry populations, with a particular emphasis on closing the representation gap.
Dr. Manasi Aichmüller-Ratnaparkhe
Dr. Manasi Aichmüller-Ratnaparkhe is CEO and Co-Founder of PAICON, the Heidelberg based health data intelligence
company building the clinical grade data foundation that medical AI has been missing. Under her leadership, PAICON
has assembled disease agnostic, multimodal health data from more than 60 countries,
Dr. José Elías García Ortiz
Dr. José Elías García Ortiz is a Mexican physician-scientist specializing in human genetics, clinical genomics, rare diseases, and precision medicine. He is a Senior Researcher in the Division of Genetics at the Centro de Investigación Biomédica de Occidente in Mexico. He currently co-directs LatinOMICS, a regional alliance that promotes equitable, collaborative omics research
Farania Rangkuti
Farania Rangkuti has over 15 years of experience spanning research, technology, and healthcare, with leadership roles across industry and the non-profit sector. She has led and advised initiatives across multiple countries and serves as Director of GENEPICA, leading strategic programmes, research partnerships, and international collaborations, to advance health equity through capacity building, research, and education.
Dr. Alfredo Cárdenas Rivera
Dr Alfredo Cárdenas Rivera, MD, MSc, PhD is a Peruvian biomedical researcher with interdisciplinary expertise in biobanking, genomics, neuroscience, bioinformatics, and translational medicine. His work focuses on developing scientific and technological infrastructures that enable the responsible use of biological samples and multi-omics data for precision medicine and population-based research.
